Is the UI gonna be changed one day?

I have no problem with most of the stuff in the current hud (hp, time left and etc.)
The thing that bothers me is that the icon of objectives and deployables is so big that it blocks a lot of stuff
The best example is the icon which shows EV location. It’s so huge and located in the perfect place to block the EV MG nest
Then we have Bomb Squad augment which adds a big arrow inside a circle around deployables, it’s so big that you can’t see what you are shooting at and will often take 4-5 shots to destroy that deployable

-The icon should become smaller the closer you are to it
-If you are within’ 5 meters of the objective, the icon will completely disappear from your screen and re-appear if you get too far away
-If you have line of sight with the EV, the icon will also disappear but you will still be able to see the EV health
-For deployables (your own which is a blue circle with an arrow inside and bomb squad which is the same but red), completely remove the icon from turrets, health stations and ammo stations (bomb squad only) and remove the arrow inside the circle. That way you can see the deployable inside the circle and know what you are shooting at. Also make the circle more transferable
-When EV is disabled, rename it from “stop the EV” to “defend the EV” and when it’s repaired make it “disable the EV”.
-Kinda off topic but it’s still an UI thing so I’ll say it too: in Terminal, we need a separate timer and defuse status for each C4 in the container area and in objective deliveries instead of having that meter, add numbers (0/2, 1/2 and 0/1 for Dome)

I couldn’t agree more. As you mentioned, the EV MG nest is likely the worst offender, often being unable to see the player sitting inside it (and it gets a lot worse the lower your resolution is). Though, of course, this isn’t the only situation where this happens, which is often by chance that an enemy player happens to run through the Objective Marker that just so happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

These i’ll agree with. I’ve also mentioned in other threads the idea of having the Objective Marker become increasingly transparent the closer the crosshair gets to the marker (eventually becoming completely invisible).

Totally agree with this, sometimes there is someone on the MG but you can’t tell because that obj marker is covering them… then they kill you.

The other points are good ideas as well. Though I’ve personally never been bothered with the icons for my own deployables.

I never had a problem with my own deployables either. But just because we didn’t have a problem doesn’t mean others didn’t have it. And it just makes sense to me that the Bomb Squad icons and your own deployable icons will be the same icon but in different colors

either i dont play a lot of EV maps or sniper scope removes the EV marker, but i can only remember having the MG blocked by the marker 1 time.

Sniper scope doesn’t remove the marker, but the marker stays the same size at all times and it’s not located EXACTLY on the MG nest area
So if you scope in with the sniper, you can see the player but that’s the only way to do it, even with the AUG scope you just see a yellow marker and when you manage to find the player’s head, they are already shooting at you and you are dead

When I play sniper, I don’t see a problem, more of free kills. But with anything else, it’s impossible to kill the MG nest guy/gal
