Is the trade system fixed???

(creator9724) #1

Well i’m asking the question of the title: Is the trading card system working properly?. I have been stashing lots of garbage cards in my inventory and i need to know if the system is now working properly or is still broken.
Thanks in advance!!!

EDIT: This is what happens why I try to answer questions while working! haha

Sorry, I thought you were talking about actually trading. :stuck_out_tongue: To answer about the trade-in system, YES it has been altered and “fixed”. You can now trade in cards for the same merc, I believe, and it costs 2 cards and 24,000 credits for cobalt, rather than 3 cards.

I think he means the trading up system?

Yesterday I traded up to 3 bronze cards for Arty and got 3 identical crappy load outs. The chances to get bad loadouts is pretty high, I think.

They might mean the Trade in system? (ex trading cobalt for cobalts).

This is a real Signature.

I’m not referring to direct trading between users, just the system that is now available when you spend some cards in exchange for hopefully a good one superior. I read some time ago on the forums that is not encouraged because is still broken, so i was asking if it’s been fixed in any way.
Thanks in advance!!!

The trade-in is as good as you can get, devs are not going to change it i think. So you can safely use it. It’s 2 cobalts plus 24k credits to get a random cobalt for a merc you want. The trade-up is not going to change in the near future i think, so go ahead and craft at your heart content.

What do you mean by broken? The RNG or the trade-up prices? Or the fact useless loadouts exist?

Gawd, I hope not!
I assume you in your answer were referring to the concept of p2p monetized trading. If you instead were talking about the ‘trade-in’ system, then it sounds like a reasonable subject of improvement.
The ‘trade-in’ system has been ‘improved’ since the official warning against using it. But it’s still ridiculous!

Updated my answer! Sorry, I was working and didn’t read properly :frowning:
