Your optimistic. Today would be too late imo.

(Codine) #8

I dont think they ever made a comment promising the SDK. Why do so many people think its coming out?

(BomBaKlaK) #9

Maybe one day …

(SockDog) #10

Did you notice this thread was from a more innocent (2009) time?

(riptide) #11

So what you’re saying is they’ve known people wanted an SDK for 2 years now and haven’t commented on it :stuck_out_tongue:

(SockDog) #12

No, I’m saying the reply was out of context as it was referring to a 2 year old post.

But to answer your question of course SD knew people would want an SDK. And they most certainly have commented on it multiple times. However it is clearly a decision (as the owners of the game) to be made by Bethesda.

Brink is my first Bethesda produced game and I will say I am not impressed ( I blame Bethesda more than SD for the problems with Brink). I would like to suggest that SD drop Bethesda for any future games and go with Tripwire Interactive. Yes I am aware that a game produced by TI probably wouldnt rake in as much cash as a Bethesda game BUT I think TI would be much easier to work with and a better game would be a result.

Tripwire Interactive I believe is PC only… sorry consolers…
