Is the PC community still thriving?

I played single player on my PC and the graphics are much better. I have the 360 version and cannot even play it with the lag and even texture pop in is a big distraction. I was wondering if the PC version is better performance wise and if there are enough people still playing to make it worth the time to trade in for the PC version?

Thanks in advance.

the pc version does have better perfomance (assuming you have a high end pc) with no texture pop in, the possibility for much higher resolutions and dedicated servers which are for the most part lag free, although alot of ati users are having problems which you should consider if you’re running one.
the pc community is declining and certainly not thriving but compared to consistent reports of virtually no players on console it would be a smart decision to trade because even with the peak users per day at only 2000 you can find plenty of full, lag free matches at any time of the day, in eu atleast

Answer to the topic question from my view : Yes. I do see enough players on online servers and I get awesome games ( be it our team owning the other or us getting our backside handed to us) in PC.

But then again , I am not anyone to comment on another fellow gamer’s expectation of the game.

I play it on a Dell studio with an ATI mobility card and I would still vouch its enjoyable. Then again , each one for themselves.
