The Katana use to be Phantoms signature weapon and basically acted like a secondary ability due to it’s lunge attack. Now that they have completed threw that all away, none of us know if it will show up on another merc. It wouldn’t be the first time they switched out or added weapons to other mercs.

They said they would be introducing the katana with phantom, they never said it would be exclusive to him, also there are loadouts for him without the katana so that’s even further proof.

The Katana WAS exclusive to Phantom. As I said before, it use to act as his secondary ability because it was able to lunge and do massive damage. I don’t see any of the temp-removed mercs having a reason to carry around a modern American katana at that. I guess Turtle looks like someone who would be interested in modern American katana and considering we’ve never seen his weapon choices, maybe that’s a possibility. With that said, I’d gladly have all the mercs using swords instead of cricket bats.

Kira should get a legit 3000000000 folds non-pressure molded katana. Although her stiletto-chopper card is already pretty crazy.
