Trying to a redeem a gift card and pretty much nothing is loading. Not even the website.

Yes it is. Sad days. But library still works so whatever.

Apparently there were problems with account informations etc. Nothing to worry about but out of safety Valve decided to shut a part of the service down.

Yeah according to kotaku, and wools were able to log into random accounts and view any and all data on that account. To be safe, they shut down the features until it could be resolved.
