Is katana broken??

I played ranked match and half my one shots(right mouse click) didnt work not even a scratch on there health
I literally stood over a proxy planting and i one shotted her 3 times in the back of the head and one time at her back and all 4 times it went through her and hit the concrete with no damage to her. And she didnt even receive delayed damage

Hit registration and latency issues?

I dumped a full mag on a Sawbonez dealing headshots and body shots and he died 1.5 seconds after I started a reload.

Melee has been bugged for a long time. It recently seems to have gotten worse though, I’m even missing beckhill stabs now.
All the weapons need to be fixed. Just try hitting a med station with the bat or literally anything with the kukri

I’ve actually felt the opposite when it comes to deployables, I feel like my melee swings are finally registering now while they almost never use to.

Had a kira die 3 seconds later was funny as hell to see her running and fly backwords out of nowhere

Today I heavy attacked a Proxy defusing the C4 on the first objective on Trainyard with a Stilnotto Stiletto and for some reason it went right through her without dealing any damage at all. :worried:

In the Ranked Season 3 updates there were some improvements to melee weapons so they couldn’t damage players through walls so recent changes have been made. Could this be having an effect on what’s going on here? Potentially. If you can, record some footage and send it our way so we can review.

The most notable example I have is the first objective on chapel. I tried to stab a proxy with the beckhill who was crouched behind the EV repairing it. I tried 3 times, right over the proxy, before finally giving up and shooting her, none of my melee attacks hit.

I honestly feel that it was better before. I’ve never really had an issue with that happening, but now it feels like most of my melee attacks don’t hit at all.

I’ll try to record something if I can.

I’ve had a lot of Katana stabs that clearly hit, but appeared to go right through the enemy. Something’s definitely off. I main Kira and use Katana/laser only very often (no gun used) and there’s just something that’s not right. I haven’t played in 3 days, but I could immediately tell when I joined a ranked match and stabs weren’t hitting like they should. However, with that said, other times, hits that would normally be a miss are now hitting so I’m confused as hell.

Well it’s kinda sorta a relief to know I’m not as terrible at melee as I thought (Though I’m still bad) I thought I had a few katana strikes that seemed to do no damage but figured I just got unlucky and missed like I normally would.

Dont feel bad it feels like my skill level decresed since update i used to be mid scoring now i seem to be worst all the time since update. Things feel slower and my hits dont register as much as they did before . I uninstalled and deleted every thing left behind the reinstalled.

I love the amount of packet loss I get in this game. And I love it dearly. I’ve never been able to hit consistently since 2015, my bullets disappear in mid air or I guess dont fire since I once emptied a mag into an AFK guy pointblank yet only about 5 of my shots fucking registered
