People have speculated Javelin, since she’s also a blonde-bara-projectile-spamming-female.

Or could it be, that Nader’s wife is just another NPC, most likely to appear in comics?

Yes. In this metaphorical figure, Nader lays the eggs and Javelin wears the belt. Now we seriously need some fan art to explore this theory. Nudge nudge, wink wink, you knowadamean.
It’s logical that someone with a rocket launcher has to be the nade launcher merc’s wife. I mean, it makes sense, like Minnie Mouse is Mickey Mouse’s girlfriend. Or The Rock trying to date Sharon Stone. Or shoe. being in a relationship with a pair of slippers.
No doubt about it. Makes my transition from a Nader main that much more enjoyable!
… I know, I know. I’m the cancer of this game 'cause I like explosives. Nader has one of the coolest character models, imo.

Well, judging from Nader’s bio, her wife didn’t have the same motivation as Nader’s for being in a battlefield.
And both looks cared each other, so I’m not sure testing prototypes motivates her wife enough to join Nader in the field
Nader and Javelin are too alike in my opinion. I imagine that nader’s wife is the feminine stay at home kind.
I’m afraid to break it to you, but in the past (ie. 1-2 years ago) this was speculated with the Javelin leak… and was confirmed to not be the case. 
They may have changed it since then, but the previous official answer was roughly along the lines of “We wanted to acknowledge Nader had a wife, but she is not a merc. She is likely safe in Germany away from the setting of Dirty Bomb – she exists outside of the game”.

Where do people get these assumptions? Just like with WoW people for some reason think King Varian and Wrathion are a couple even though there is nothing to connect them, as well.
