Is this working as intended, or are unranked’s supposed to have near 30 minute queues?

Update: I got a queue at about 30:00, but one guy didn’t connect.

Took 3 mins to find a game. I shouldn’t of just went straight into ranked though lost first game. After the update it appears my binds were reset again, fps cap removed and the very important stutter fix was gone also… didnt help either that the enemy were teleporting all over the place even though they all had low ping. They were also surprisingly extremely coordinated, whilst my team didn’t realise there were flanks available on the map to use or even knew that friendly fire was on…

Overall terrible experience so far. Re-applied all my binds and tweaks but still getting stutter now. Cba to try and fix it again tonight. Probably wait a few days for the ranks to even out so I don’t get toasted either xD

Finally won a game, I think they took Elo from last season and use it for matchmaking.

yeah, i was playing a few more games and it took me about 1-5 minutes to connect

It pretty much took me the entire day to finish all ten games because of the time it took to find matches. Then just to make me feel better, even though I was top scoring almost every game, it was ‘kind’ enough to rank me as silver 4. Might as well just kill myself.

I have never even played 10 matches of Dirty Bomb ranked in my entire time playing the game, the queue times in OCE are just that bad.

And with the new update, I can say goodbye to ever playing 10 ranked games full stop.

@N8o your queue times are going to be a tad longer then others since you were an Elite Operative if I remember correctly.

Ranks were not completely reset, just compressed down. And if you’re duo queueing, it’s going to take longer as that raises your matchmaking skill level. :stuck_out_tongue:

I duoqueud in lobbies of 2 formerly elite players for 5 games since reset and got 5-20 minute queues though. MM just dislikes N8o.

The problem is I’d have to actually queue up for ranked :slight_smile: I don’t like waiting when I want to play as my time is precious and, for me, it’s not worth getting a token of status for all the hassle involved. I know where I stand compared to “Cobalt Elites” and other tournament accomplished players in DB and that’s good enough in my eyes for now. Until there is a much larger pool of players playing DB ranked I probably won’t be queuing up.

I am excited that community servers might be a thing. A few servers catering to the most elite players similar to old Quakesh!t.com servers back in the day would be the most amazing thing ever.

You should try queuing up in the times MOST people are online as indicated by the graph.

So if your on EU your best bet would be try and search between the 1:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M margin.
