Is it bad that I'm having fun?

Everyone seems to hate this game but I love it. The game may be different on the PC and there’s some tweaking that could be done such as allows “esc” to function as the back button on the menus, but those are minor issues.

The game itself is smooth and I’m playing on below than minimum specs, yet everything is on medium for some reason.

SMART is a lot of fun too, my biggest complaint is the lack of a proper tutorial for the PC version which won’t matter in like 2 hours.

Edit:

2.26-2.27 duo core, intel
9800M GTS card
4 GB ram

Able to play all on high without motion blur on 1220-880 or something resolution, no lag.

I’m having fun too. I just need to edit some cvars. My keys are all bound wrong.

Yes you should feel ashamed. Listen to “We gave COD 9.5” IGN about how repetitive and boring this game is.

Awesome news! Probably because my PC’s also under minimum specs. :frowning:

Now I just have to wait until Friday to see if it will run on my computer. Even with all the drama going on, I’m even more pumped for this game haha.

Yeah I’m ready for it to be a week or two from now and have all the launch issues mostly cleared up for people. Then we can get into strategy discussion!

The more I read, the more it sounds like SD released an unfinished game. Still going to pickup my copy, but my expectations are now well below getting me through the summer and are around getting me through the week until LA Noire.

I am having a blast too. Despite eyefinity not being supported, some sort of mouse acceleration in the game, and crappy server issues. It really is a fantastic game and once the launch night jitters are taken care of will make me happy for a long time.

I think I may be wrong, and that many of these reviewers should have waited to patch their 360 copy and played a decent amount with real players. I never ever thought the single player would be strong, but the multiplayer looks like a ton of fun.

Having fun is a sin! BURN THE HERETIC!

The only people who are gonna like this game are people who understand these types of objective games. People who had fun playing Wolfenstein are gonna love this game. All the negative reviews must be from people who just don’t get it. These type of games take time to learn and require teamwork. You can thank COD for creating a bunch of zombie game players who do not accept anything unless it has COD written on the box. I have this game and I can say that it runs smooth and once you learn the maps and how to move around, it’s a blast.

i wanna have fun :frowning: …gotta wait til tomorrow to play.

(Shinjorai) #12

I dont give three ****s or a whistle what these negative nancys have to say i love this game too and plan to play the wheels off it. I can say though in all honesty i was expecting the customization to have a few more options but then again its launch night and i only played an hour or two but its a really fun game what i played of it. Dont understand the negative press at all. Unless its like you say theyre bound and determined to hate it because its not COD. Either way i plan to play it learn the game and have a new obsession for the next few years.

Are you serious?
Someone please find the cvar to disable this asap.

What are your specs out of curiosity?

(hamstein) #15

What are your specs out of curiosity?

Just posted them, think you have the same computer as me.

(jRAD) #16

There is no mouse acceleration in the game - all mouse actions are read through Windows’ Raw Input system.

(DarkangelUK) #17

Nah I have better specs, but it’s good to see that it’s running well on the lower end of the scale.

(Mustang) #18

I think all the people enjoying the game are too busy playing so it’s only the complainers that are appearing at the moment

(Senyin) #19

Phew, good to hear.
I’m glad people are enjoying themselves!
I have to wait till friday :frowning: (Friday the 13th…hmmm)

It’s like Shadowrun all over again: A wonderful game smashed into the ground by wrong expectations (Bethesda i’m looking at you and your marketing) and a few technical glitches (Splash Damage how could you?!).
