Is Dirty bomb is getting blocked in Russia?

Hello

You know Russian Communication Supervision service is responsible for blocking sites in our country. This internet terrorism policy is so stupid and easily avoidable if needed, but those dumbs gone awol and tried to block Telegram… and during that they blocked IPs of many other servises, like amazon, google ect (INCLUDING THEIR OWN ONES lol wtf?).

Now back to the topic. Right after update many russian players end up unable to signin to the game. First I thought it was some problem with new patch, but no! I used VPN which rised my ping on Moscow server by 100, but it works just fine. Now I have to use VPN to access Dirty bomb. I live in Russia and have to use german VPN to play on russian server?

Can devs enlighten me about this situation? Is it what I think it is? Not a pleasant surprise right before game release.

Kinda sad to have this happening during melee mayham. Not even possible to get free event skins and using VPN is risk of getting banned in steam. Ugh

Ik it’s not exactly a great solution, but you could get a trusted friend to log in to DB with your account from some other country and change your password after. At least they can pick up some skins for you if you have the credits and you’re worried about being banned over your VPN

You could try changing your DNS to Google’s. It might fix your problem since most ISPs block certain sites that way.

No, Russia has an authoritarian regime, it use Deep Packet Inspection (as China and Egypt). The best thing to do was to not vote for Poutine…

But if you are using a VPN to Germany, then play on Frankfurt servers, you’ll have better ping than coming back to Russian servers.

Can’t login! Don’t use Amazon cloud hosting or any other big cloud hosting. It can be blocked. Telegram and other shitty anonymous messengers doing too many problems.

Yeah google and amazon servers are blocked in Russia right now, so you’ll have to VPN to play but obviously at a big ping cost.

Here a lot other anon messengers don’t blocked: WhatsApp, Viber … and no one cares. Yeah … russian internet its a strange thing … but any country can block messenger in the future after terrorist attack. So … big cloud hosting doesn’t work for 100%

Telegram has no intention of giving the encryption codes away to the Russian internet daddy and it’s traffic is down 10% since the amazon and google ip ban so it’s gonna be a while… Your best bet is SD switching hosting.

i can enter to the game right now. some restrictrictions was removed. i dont know about all providers. personally i have one of the most big internet provider in russia

Try somethimg like glasswire it will show u what ip addresses the app is connecting to

Indeed i managed to play today. 10-11 days are unfortunatly lost in this event. Don’t even feel like playing it anymore because of free stuff.
