if I remember correctly, “Games for Windows” was/is a project to clarify PC requirements for games, so if a game meets some requirements in regard to PC specs it gets the GfW-logo on the box.
Has been created due to consoles I think, just like you see the PS3- or XBOX360-logo on the DVD-Box and know your console is able to run it. Though it didn’t work out so well, due to the variety of PC hardware.
Is Brink Steamworks or Games for Windows? (in reference to boxart on shop page)

That’s pretty much it, I think. But most publishers just steer clear and put the top-left “PC DVD Rom” corner strip.
[QUOTE=madoule;286718]yeah, i can’t stand any of the german dubs, i always switch to the english version. unfortunately there’s usually a censored version for us german gamers… ;(

I don’t really bother about that, I usually get my games in english and often enough there are austrian version which aren’t cut/censored.
Okay cool thanks
I ended up deciding to get it from the digital download Game though, since for personal reasons I don’t want a hard copy rocking up on my front door. Anyway, it’s bought now, so yay! Can’t wait for release =D, I just hope it doesn’t eat into my study time…D=
