I think that they are taking action. During the past weeks i met on every 2nd or 3rd competetive match a botter on the opposite side. Since last weekend my buds n’ me play against one per evening or none (So i guess there are less than before). We also reported them with videoproof and screenshots. I hope that they don’t need too much time working on an ingame reporting function. I also think that HWID bans would be better, because as mentioned 493430483493 times they would just create another account and troll us again. Maybe also an Anti-Cheat engine like Fairfight wouldn’t be that bad.
Is anyone reporting the hackers?
just curious, how do you know if someone is hacking? can anyone who’s reported a hacker tell me?
Well those blatant ones are easy to spot. They snap from target to target, get like 95% headshots and they also track you (behind walls and so on).
I kinda stopped. I’ve recorded and reported 2 obvious cheaters. The lack of actual evidence of nexon doing anything about my reports makes me think im wasting my time.
How about a “resolved, that player was indeed cheating and has been banned”. I also like the idea of having some kind of Global ban count. At least once a week in an announcement. As it stands, I don’t see all the work that they said they are putting behind catching and getting rid of hackers. @MissMurder @GM-Radrodo
Nope, takes way too much time and effort to report. And its a F2P game so they just flip IP with proxy and come back in.
Kinda pointless, However i still do it by finding them on Steam and giving out the ID link in public for everyone else to report.
However they can just make a new steam account or keep the old one with a new name.
We need IP & HWID bans~
[quote=“joekerr;12268”]Just curious if others out there are taking the time to report hackers?
I’ve been spec’ing hackers and recording them when I run into them and sending to nexon. Not sure if it’s helping, but I haven’t see a hacker I’ve reported again, so I’m hoping they are being removed from the game.
The hacking is getting out of control. Sure, there are the super obvious hackers, but there’s also a second tier of “smart” hackers… they don’t do the instant kill hacks, but if you spec them over a match its obvious they are hacking.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone else is taking the time to report these guys?

Hmmmmmmm @joekerr , maybe you were wrong about this one?
please dont take any of these as proof of evidence, instead think of it as reason for suspicions
- really unlikely shots. getting shot from an angle when your head only briefly was visible darting between two objects and the angle is out of the usual field of view for someone in their position
- Multiple kills in rapid succession all with head shots.
- seemingly tracking you through walls , and shooting with split second timing, without you being detected or seen earlier so they can time it.
- getting behind someone opening fire and finding yourself just dropping dead from an instant counter hail of head shots.
- seeming to vastly vary in skill, been smacking a guy around most of the match but now 3 minutes to go they turned into a god?
Any and all of these are likely to be signs of skill, luck or just a freak occurrence, but if someone keeps on ticking the boxes a bit more than seems likely time to get suspicious and investigate.
to this date ive seen one definite hacker myself and 2 or 3 that might of been but could also just have been having great games.
I don’t see the point when all you can report is a name, if you’re lucky you might find the steam account but definitely not for the box named people.
Found my first cheater two days ago. Couldn’t make a vid because I forgot to set up my screen vid’ software install. Couldn’t kick him too because the opposite team weren’t reacting. In the end, I just left the server.
Actually it is possible to stream only the frames that your GPU is calculating for the game, effectively not showing any overlay that a cheat is using. In fact, some cheats work on duplicates of the game data and overlay the results on top of the game as to not mess with the code and get detected. By only recording the game and ignoring the overlay it is possible to stream and seem like a very very good player although in truth it’s just a hack…
When I started gaming in about 1999 people where hacking, its 2015 and they are still at it. Its never going to change unfortunately. You just have to hope they get bored and move on to the next game they can be elite in for 15 minutes.

dude, EVERYONE was calling him a hacker. He’s flipping you an image that tells the story he wants you to see, not what actually happened.

Maybe everyone on your team was bad? Almost all of the people that regularly make hackusations aren’t smart enough to tell the difference between a hacker and a good player.
When i find a hacker,i’ll report him since i haven’t found any of them in my played matched.
I even used my Spider Hack Detector sense to find but strangely,no one use it since they
don’t gain much.
