I was able to play fine earlier however now when i try to open the game it says Error Sign in could not be completed. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

Yeah just got it this morning. Yesterday the game was working fine but this morning sign in could not be completed. When I verify integrity of game cache in steam it tells me two files failed to validate so will be reacquired. Steam downloads them instantly but when I launch the game the same thing happens and when I reverify the integrity again I am told two files failed to validate. Restarting my pc has not helped. Launching the game itself seems to be corrupting the two game files.
