Certain sounds aren’t playing like they should, the minigun firing, shots received from enemy players, and a few other things.
It’s like the audio, and how it’s directed and played at certain times, is simply not able to keep up with the action.

I got different issues…weapon swapping sometimes does not work as I command. Especially on kira’s laser. I am unable to switch weapons after heavy spam on the laser device.
Fletcher’s sticky bombs sometimes do not explode when I push the trigger etc. (and no, no phantom is around)
Often I am getting the annoying sound loop which was claimed to be fixed already.

You’ve pretty much described the issues I’m having…swapping and the infinite sound loop. I’ve died many a times because it’s taking 3 or 4 times to swap to my primary.
Since the last update my knife animation or audio for it hasn’t played a couple of times, but the enemy still came up in my kill feed with a knife animation so I wasn’t too bothered.
Never had that before the last update though.
I get weapon firing loops all the time, leading me to have to killallsounds in console, and then step into silent Proxy mines :c
After over two years in development they still having problems but will still take your money. Kind of hard to support someone on something like this.

Same issue I’ve had a number of times since the most recent Summer Squash update. I have the reduced animation quality option selected so will try with full animation quality to see if that fixes the problem.
Overall there’s a feeling that feedback of being shot/taking damage is a bit delayed. No proof of this but something just seems a bit off with either other players animations or the audio IMO.
I can’t hear a good portion of proxy mines that are set. I’ve even recorded a lot of footage and went back to see if I could hear them and the sound just isn’t there. Mine noises should always override every other sound when one is near.
yep. some reloads even foot steps dont work and the big one arty and skyhammers iconic sounds you wont hear from time to time or is delayed but up to a second. aka i see the boom but no sound and by the time i hear is its way behind.
Like mentioned before , I can’t hear some mines. I also get the repeating firing sound bug a lot. And btw why is the direction of the sound completely unreliable ? Is it a problem on my side or is it just a general thing ?
If you are talking about transitioning from 1st to 2nd stage on Underground the yes - it’s like the vertical component of is completely disregarded. I didn’t notice it anywhere else. If I can hear a sound, any sound, then I have no problems discerning where it comes from.
I’ve also been “seeing” invisible proxy mines with no audio, so they’re impossible to avoid sometimes.
Proxy had an eye removed, and everybody else had an ear removed for balancing reasons…
I cant hear mines half the time as many people state. Not sure if this is a direct audio bug/issue but since the hotfix i have had 3 seperate occasions where enemies are engaging in combat with me, i am losing health but I am not hearing them shoot? I don’t even see muzzle flash. Quick-chat/taunts seem delayed at certain points also.
I can’t hear proxy mines a lot of the time… and even walk right over them at times and swear there was nothing there.
I haven’t recorded game play since last year though, so I’ve always assumed that I just didn’t see the mine and didn’t hear it due to having my own music playing… Maybe I wasn’t crazy this whole time!.. well… maybe.
Recently, i hear cracking and stuttering just before my game goes below the 60fps threshold of acceptable play. I get seriously furious when it falls below 30fps and the stuttering becomes frequent. Specially, mid way in firefight at Stopwatch.
I have attempted to “validate integrity of game cache” from steam, but it didn’t do anything at all.
