Good morning.
In my effort to provide a way of controling spawnkilling with various mass-killing weapons
i have made a mod that goes by the name of etsk. Thanks to people who spent time
chasing done every bug they could, the mod is now runing by the version 1.0.5 which should be the lastest version for a long time.
That said, a nice person did make me a favor by running a server using the etsk mod.
I would like to invite all interested players to try out this server, althought i am aware
this is not like playing on an ETPro or a shrub server. I tried to reduce this annoyance by
adding the most common ‘must-have’ features you are used to: xp save, taunt,
hit-sounds, light weapon skill -modificators corrections, allied covop/eng garand
reloadable even if ammo clip is not empty etc.
The server IP is : 193.27.10.7:27965 (you can wait for the server to show up in the
play-online menu but it usually takes time since there is only one server running this
mod). It is running in pure mode and have punkbuster enabled.
You will need the mod beeing properly installed on your computer like for etpro and shrub
mod. It can be downloaded here:

If you are new with mods installation there is a readme.txt file in the pk3.
If you are interested in creating you own sk areas with the ingame editor you can
have a look at the editor manual also contained in the pk3. Dont worry about sk files
versions, support for file conversions will always be provided should the need arise.
Always having in mind to preserve a good and serious gameplay i have included a few secondary features through the very first versions of the mod. Here are some of them
for those who arent familliar with the etsk mod ( well…almost everybody ):
- Possibility to vote/refcon the anti-selfkill and the anti-spawnkill system.
- Classes aptitudes grow in a linear manner (eg: 35% light weapons accuracy bonus
divided into the 4 light weap. skill levels ). - initial etmain light weapon mid/far range damage bug fixed and many others.
Should this experience be succesfull over the next months i may continue to work on this mod and add some reasonable ideas i kept in mind for a few weeks now like:
- Tactic balloons to show your teammates what is your intention (eg: icon saying jump on
my shoulders to reach a higher place) to ease tactics communication. - Defensive weapons like birbed wires deployable by allied engs to help holding a position if not too close from an holdable objective.
