Is this supposed to be the case? I just noticed on Overground where the wooden fences are, you can shoot over the top of them etc, but you can’t throw ammo or health packs over them. They just hit an invisible wall and fall straight down. I haven’t tried grenades on it yet but either way it seems dumb you can shoot people through it but not throw any kind of packs.

This actually happens on almost every map. Loads of places with high fences or ledges that you cant throw packs over. They just stop in mid air and fall straight down.

Pretty sure this isn’t a bug. Not being able to throw things over tall fences I believe is intentional. Yes even in Trainyard when you are waiting for first objective to blow up you cannot throw items over that fence that opens (like many many others).

What the. Why? Have they explained why some where in a video or something? I don’t get it haha. You can throw frag nades over and you can shoot over but you can’t throw an ammo pack?

What it is is a collision barrier you can’t throw the packs high enough to get over the fence.
You can shoot and throw grenades much higher than you could with an ammo pack. Also, there could possibly be issues in certain areas where you could “lose” C4 or data cores ect. I haven’t had any other complaints or questions about this in the past. I can however ask about this, but again I do not believe this is a bug.
