Invisible Sparks

Can I assume invisible Jesus Sparks is a known bug? I’ve seen it discussed elsewhere but I haven’t found a thread here.

If it is not know, Sparks becomes invisible and is unable to inflict damage. However, Sparks is still able to revive others. Unknown if REVIVR can still obliterate objectives during this time. I don’t know the cause but will surely be looking forward to some zombie filled games due to free sparks rotation weeks. It is really weird having players getting endlessly revived with no medic to be seen.

I had a couple of instances, where I would be running through the game, shooting people with my Nader but it was all just client-side.

The server thought i was standing at the spawn location. So, none of my actual running around and shooting people had any effect at all and no other player would see me.
When i got shot there at the spawn location, i would suddenly see my kill-cam ghost at the spawn-location.
It’s the most annoying thing.

Tabbing out wouldn’t help either. Just quitting the server helps.

Maybe this is related. When the client “thinks” he’s doing stuff but the server “thinks” something completely different, then it will be really awkward.

Possibly, no idea. I have heard multiple Sparks complaining that they can no longer deal damage in games I’ve been in. Unless they are coincidental, Sparks seems to have a particular problem with this + being able to revive.

Well, that is interesting. While I didn’t pay attention, I saw discussion of sparks related player bugging on IRC, as well as the various REVIVR problems, that were getting her banned in dirtycups so I assumed this was one of the known bugs.
