INVISIBLE enemies ?!

Last night i had a strange experience in Brink.

I joined a random server and was shoot down 3 times in a row right after the spawn. I NEVER saw any enemy on the minimap or the direction the shot came from.

First thing i thought was: “WTF, grafic bug?” … But after this happened on different spots on the map i was pretty sure that this was a hack/cheat.

Did this happen to anyone else? :confused:

Next time i will fraps my games, just in case this happens again and i will post the video.

I use the PC version and only dedicated servers, since they are able to provide me a ping about ~30.

This has happened twice to me. I think that it is a graphical bug.

I have been playing coop on dedicated servers and 3 times tonight this occurred. Tended to happen at the same time the sound cut out.

Finally after you wrote that, i remembered, yes the sound was off in my game too.

Happened for me on refuel and security tower, after sound was cut off.

seen it as well.

even more, i revived this guy few times, and buffed.
he was playing my team, but appeared as in Spectators team. With zero health bar.
Enemy team was not able to see him as well, and he was just sitting on their spawn and killing majority of them.

funny thing, for the whole round no one from enemy team seem to notice this invisible guy :slight_smile:

SD fix it please, this is annoying

I would think its just a graphic bug, that or i joined a team full of hackers:D
anyway I had this happen twice today, some of my team was invisible and so was some enemy’s I just disconnected and reconnected and it seemed to go away.

They don’t show up on the scoreboard to you either.

Correct . The security team I was up against didnt have a single name listed. I see my teammates running around fighting and I dont see a thing. At first i thought it was some ability ( yeah , dumb).

Yup played it with some clanmates

I was attacking and kept running round and just getting shot when no one was near me

The player name that it said killed me wasnt on the scoreboard (wtf moment), so luckily i was on ts, he said he was, everyone else on the server could see him on scoreboard. I then asked him to come out and stand by a teammate who could confirm they were standing there (said ceasefire). And sure enough he was completely invisible…only to me though

Same here. Played with a guy from my FL in my team and he was invisible and his name couldnt be found in the players list (TAB) I hope SD will fix this asap. A friend could hardly be buffed and as an enemy thats just frustrating.
