I only have a handful of items so far and my inventory already looks disorganized. So I played with the sorting option to seen if one would work better for me and found this:
- Sorting by name placed the keys between Rhino and Vassili, I have no idea what the actual name of that item might be to achieve that…
- Sorting using “Newest First” is almost working, except that the loadout shown first is actually the 3rd one I unlocked and should therefore have been 4th in the list. I’m also quite sure that I got the keys first, before I unlocked any loadout
Personally I’d like to see different items types not be mixed except maybe when sorting by “Newest”. If I sort by name, that will be because I want to see things arrange by merc, please don’t throw keys and crates in there, sort these separately at the end or on a separate line. That would make the “Type” sort redundant, but perhaps it could be replaced by a “Rarity” option that would order the items from the rarest to the most common (again, only merc items unless rarity also applies to crate variations, etc…).
You might also consider allowing us to freely organize the inventory, basically drag and drop the items anywhere within the window and align them to an invisible grid (think desktop icons).
