Introducing: Misty (Edited)

Misty has always been fascinated by the human body. Most notably, the nastiest, cruelest ways of destroying it. After creating her very own brand of pocket sized bio bomb, she has decided to move from her home land of Ireland to London, where there are plenty of opportunities for young destroyers to don their gas masks, pick up their favourite assault rifle and go to town.
Her gas is good for area denial, such as doorways, choke points or campsites, though she is one of the weaker mercs.

Type: Assault

Abilities:
Q- Misty’s bio-grenade smothers a small 3x3 metre area in gas that gradually takes enemies health, maybe at around 10 hp a second, or similar to the gas in the gas tunnels. Each grenade exploded on impact, lasts 8 seconds, and has a 20 second cool down . Misty can carry two at a time. they also take about 2 seconds to prime, to stop people spamming them and instead use them more tactically.
I was toying with the idea of gas affecting Misty’s team, and possibly not affecting other Misty’s, but I’m not sure if it would then be used as a troll class. I also think she could have more resistance to gas tunnels, so her and phoenix could surprise enemies through the gas.

E- misty carries an ammo station so she always has enough bullets for her and her team.

Speed- 400
Health- 90
Weapons: M4, AK and Blishlock, Blishlock being the default.

Appearance:
Misty has a black gas mask that completely obscures her face. She has brown hair put into two ponytails. She wears a knee length giant yellow coat and brown combat boots, with blue trousers, and the coat is what mainly changes colour with load out card rarity. she could possibly also have a gas container on her back, also yellow.

reduce the granades duration a LOT and the cooldown

Sounds interesting. Since the gas is toxic, would it affect her teammates as well since they don’t have gas masks? I also agree with astoundingShellfish that the duration should be lowered. Maybe to the same as Redeye’s smoke grenade.

I never thought I’d ever see someone give their idea a Blishlok by default.

Grenade duration needs to be lowered, so does cooldown.

yeah, I didn’t really know how long to give her grenades for, as i didnt want it to be too short in case she was useless, or too long in case it was overpowered.

I like the idea, however, Misty is not an assault merc if she can carry an ammo station around. To balance this out, if you were to keep Misty as Assault, remove her ammo station, increase her health with slower movement speed. Make the bio bombs deal significantly more dps, while reducing its duration to at max: 3 secs. If you were to keep her as fire support, I think Misty would be fine.

Suggestion for the positive status effect for the team.

Since Misty has access to the ammo station why not make Misty’s Bio-Grenades make team-mates reload faster, run faster and be able to reload whilst running for 10 seconds.

And the status effect in question I imagine would have a green particle effect trailing off players. It looks really cool in my mind.

@Corppet yeah I think fire support is more what I had in mind. And @Ferrett321 I think positive effects might be cool, but I’m not sure how useful it would be, if they have to stand in it for it to take effect, or if would be a bit complicated if it affects them permanently/ for a short time. I do think a support merc with these abilities would be cool though, you should do your own merc idea! And yeah I was thinking greeny yellow smoke, some thing really putrid looking :slight_smile:
