Hmm, noticed this over the past 2 days… wonder what problem they’re having :worried:

Well, today I had a problem with US server 70, it just do not load the map after selecting the loadout it just timed out. When I re-opened my game it was supposed to be apple to recconect to it, but it opened like it wasn’t started at all, just happened once today.

Thanks for the feedback miss! ^^

Steam’s been as wobbly as I was yesterday night after a lot of alcohol.

The only difference is that I am still stable compared to them :expressionless:

For data tracking, here is where we have had issues over the past couple of days (the dropping spikes are quite noticeable): http://store.steampowered.com/stats/

As for the reasons behind this, I did a little digging and it’s most likely because - Steam has been hitting all-time-high’s recently, peaking more every day and this might have a large strain on their current servers. Dropping users might be their “solution” to this… Although it can’t be said for sure, we’ll have to wait to hear from Valve (haha…) or Dirty Bomb for this one. There’s discussion on the Steam subreddit if you wish to see more on the current situation.

On the bright side, their server room is looking better than ever:

Thank you for the update, I’m glad I saw this before attempting to sign-in today so I’ll know what the cause is if it happens to me. On a side note it’s great to see you back in office, I hope your sister’s baby is as healthy as can be, huge congratulations to her!!! <3

i cant run dirty bomb at this point, my computers so far gone i’ll fit in like one game before the computer overheats :confounded:

(GhostEntity) #10

While I did chuckle at the picture, it stopped very quickly. I have to work in rooms like that (sigh)

(Parmenion) #11

I can’t sign in :frowning:

(VincentRJaeger) #12

Do these problems also create serious lagspikes every now and then?

I’ve been unable to play because the game freezes far more often than ever before and it even got me out of a game that went so good.

Fucking hell…

(Sussepus) #13

same here. can’t sign in :unamused:

Dirty bomb closes with Razer Cortex … When I’m playing, the game closes hack for security reasons.

(CCP115) #16

I had a similar problem with Windows Update. Go into the Razer Cortex settings, and make sure you allow the Nexon Game Security process to continue running even after a game launches. Currently, every time you launch a game, Cortex closes the Nexon Game Security process, and as a result you can’t play Dirty Bomb cause it thinks you doing some dodgy stuff.

Also this might explain why I was getting 300 ping one night, though noone else was having internet problems.
