Interest in an NA Cup or League?

How many teams out there would play in an NA Cup or League targeting NA players? In other words, something hosted at night, 7,8,9 est or something like that.
Put your team down and the possible roster. I’ll post on all forums as well to see if people even want such a thing :slight_smile:

dirtycups is already more or less an NA cup, goes on until 1am GMT+1 (some eus will be up until 2 am), matches are on NA servers if only one team is NA, and the tourney is on a sunday so most NAs should be able to play.

obviously doesn’t mean you shouldn’t host this or anything, just don’t think it’s necessary (we all know you’re just scared of the EUs)

Nope. I am also not planning on running a cup. Simply wanted to see how many potential teams there would be if there was one.

NA servers for all NA teams even when playing vs NAs and a time friendlier to NAs than EUs (since EUs get quite tired by semis/finals), I really fail to see how it’s not basically an NA cup.

NA cups/ leagues are usually hosted at night, just like all European cups. Anyway i have no idea why we are even discussing this. The point was to see how many teams were available if there was to be an Na thing going on.

I posted it on Reddit but I’ll copy over here:
Here’s the deal: We currently have way too many teams signed up for a global cup. We are finishing this series as global, but when we start our open beta series we will have NA and EU leagues, but they will not be “region locked”, meaning either can participate. :slight_smile:

However, if people want something fun to do in the middle of the week, we can have “fun cups” that aren’t necessarily seeded and don’t have prizes, aimed at a specific region. Depending on size and time restraints we can have double elim or something.

NA leagues are usually at night instead of early morning. Dirtycup is still a great time for NA. Anyone that has sundays off are golden. But pm is always best for leagues
