I am unable to get Dirty Bomb to launch since the last patch. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Deleted the UnrealEngine3 folder and even tried to edit my UI since i was told those were all possible fixes. Nothing has corrected the issue. I get instant crash. When i tried to verify the game in Steam it says 1 file was missing and would be reacquired repeatedly.

Also I dont think I have ever had the name RoyalVase. Not sure who this account is but they registered under my e-mail?? Can i change that?
Still haven’t been able to resolve either of these issues. I have reinstalled a few time now. The game is crashing before any boxes open.

This is the detail problems for windows crash screen.
I deleted the UnrealEngine3 folder the first time i reinstalled. It did not help. When I verify my game through steam it consistently says 1 file missing, will be reacquired. But does not download or fix anything. Is this what your game was doing?
I don’t seem to be able to find the UnrealEngine3 folder when looking for it on this reinstall. Searching does not find it either. Do I have to do something to fix that?
I have also reinstalled steam since someone said that might help. So far no go.

Have you verified as an admin? Try shutting down steam and running it as an administrator, then right click Dirty Bomb in your library and verify your game cache. If this fails, you may want to uninstall and re-install again just to be sure. If this still fails, create a support ticket.
Opened a support ticket today. The last patch which gave us Phoenix seemed to fix it. Then with the fine tuning right after it, boom broken again. Not sure what else to do.
