Insta-gibs and sniping.

I had an idea.

Since this game has wall jumping mechanics - ie, making it harder to hit targets.
Would it be fair to change the MOA and FE-LIX to only insta-gib airbourne players rather than grounded ones?

In doing this you reward players who are able to land those shots but at the same time balance the game a bit.

Your thoughts?
IMO it’s a bit strange, but I think it could work.

That makes it so situational and players can prevent being instagibbed by not jumping when they see a vassili. “But this makes them easier to be headshot!” But then they won’t be instagibbed and a Sparks can revive them from a range back up with full health.

Seems reasonable. But wouldn’t you want to jump rather than stay grounded to prevent being put on low health and then being shot by one of Vassili’s secondaries or another enemy resulting in death.

No ones play style has to change as a result of this possibility, The people who jump everywhere are still hard to hit, and the people who run/walk everywhere wont die in an instant - but instead have time to find cover/request backup etc…

Regardless, thanks for the feedback

I mean, I’m not talking about changing the play style.
I’m saying they can avoid being instagibbed by not jumping and have a Sparks at the back to revive them if they die.

Seems kinda dumb. As stated, yea just not jump. Can we remove jump scoping though? It makes zero logical sense, and it’s kind of stupid.

I agree with the jump scoping, it doesn’t make sense and just makes Vassili unnecessarily more powerful than he should be.
