There’s been a few issues since the last server maintenance or update. Sign-in errors, slow loading, etc. have been faced by a lot of players. Then there’s the worst issue, huge, frequent ping spikes. They seem to happen every game a few times (at least for me). I play on U.S. East, SA, and U.S. West servers. My ping is generally, at most, 100 (this is only on some West servers because I live in the East). However, my ping tends to spike so much that it’s unplayable. It will go up to 988 and stay there for 30 seconds, then go back down slowly, and spike back up. Sometimes the problem lasts a few minutes. Other times my ping won’t spike as high, but it will fluctuate often which causes constant teleports.
Anyways, my connection appears to be fine. Other games work without issue. I didn’t have any problems with my ping/lag prior to that last update (something did go wrong for sure considering the people getting lots of sign-in errors, although that problem seemed to alleviate itself in the last few days). Any idea on what could be causing this? I’m going to try and disable AVG to seem if that fixes the ping problem. Disabling my antivirus did fix the sign-in attempt error a couple times, but then all of the servers appeared to crash.
Thanks for any help.
