Input needed: Trade-Ups and the idea behind it

I think the idea behind trade-ups/trade-ins* is definitely a major help for this game as without them, this game could be considered quite: “Pay to win” However since this notion has been added, I can happily say that JUST ABOUT everything in this game is acquirable (excluding event cards). Eventually you will be able to acquire that “Gold Bushwhacker” or “Cobalt Phantom”. It just all takes time in this game. Another plus for having the trade ups/ins is that you won’t have those stupid cards sitting around in your inventory anymore uselessly. If one wished to acquire some rare and special cards, they could spend a few bucks to buy a crate or two. I frown upon the prices of the crates, but I see that in a way this game has to get money from somewhere. Anyone think otherwise?

With the recent updates, you can buy a specific loadout in bronze for 17500 credits. The trade up system, in my opinion is nice, especially that I got the KE72 Guardian Operative in silver for Nader because of it (It’s one of the few with the hochfir, also my fav loadout). Without this system, I would have never have gotten it.

The loadout trades are fantastic. It allows you to trade all the garbage ones you got from crates and such and have a chance to look like a cool kid with cobalt. I got a C94 Phantom Cobalt from trade-up and it was the best thing ever.

The there is no “Pay to win” in this game. All the cobalt do is make the weapons look cooler. You can get the same load out in a cobalt as you can bronze. Also this game is based on skill, if you don’t want to spend money, learn to play good with skyhammer and aura! (And you can use the free rotations.)

Just saying, If you do want to get your hands on equipment cases fast as all hell, play stopwatch mode. 60% drop chance anyone? and there’s always a 20% chance of getting something better than lead. I generally get a silver every week just from playing stopwatch and trading up (and I come out a fair bit of credits ahead aswell)
