Incredibly Long Load Times

It takes me forever to load into and out of matches. For example, today when I joined a match on trainyard I loaded through the ready up sequence, through the announcer’s intro of the stage, and then a minute after the match began. It takes me so long to load after a match is over that I have no time to change the mercs in my squad. I shouldn’t have this long of load times.

i7 quad core
2 Nvidia GeForce GT 750Ms
16 GB RAM
Windows 10 (this also happened when I was running Windows 8.1)

Anybody have a fix for this?

I hate that!!!some days I can play a match once per 2 hours…it’s happen that the loading screen may end and let me play 1 min per game lol
The only way I can play a entire match is to play competitive cause the game can’t start without everyone on the game…but I have to “resume” game and it still realy long like 5 min loading so it’s like 10 minute loading and 5 min resume game >.>

As far as I can tell it’s specs that determines load times, players with low specs will see longer load times while players with better specs will see better load times. Games are usually not optimized very well for intel processors, I’m really not a specs guy so I can’t say anything about your video card (Although a quick google search told me it’s a bit outdated). If it is within your budget it may be advantageous to upgrade your PC.

I could substantially reduce my loading times after installing windows and dirty bomb on ssd (before 2TB Western Digital).
Now db starts in 1min and maps loads in approximately 30 seconds. B)

I have the same problem and its very annoyin playing stopwatch mode. Also I hate when sometimes you have to wait 15 more second to deploy :S I wonder why sometimes, after map being loaded I spawn instantly and sometimes lobby menu looads and i have to wait to deploy? ;/

It’s so you have a chance to change what mercs you want to bring.

Also, DB is one of the slowest loaders when you start a game from desktop. Something needs to be optimized in that area too…

To select your squad you shuld go to barracks or do it in lobby between maps, after loading a map i want to be deployed immieditaly. But my problem is why it happens randomly and why the lobby screen appears when map is loaded after being in intermission between games where I have already chosen my squad.
