Incorrect/generic character in multiplayer

Whenever I join or take place in a multiplayer match, my character is displayed incorrectly. I can see when taking/using objectives (through the 3rd person perspective skill) that I appear to be some random generic character, with the kind of generic clothing a bot would wear. My customised outfit is nowhere to be seen.

This isn’t just client side, because I asked my friend what I looked like in-game, and his description didn’t match my customisation. Similarly, his character appeared wrongly also.

For example, I have “The Bug” mask equipped and a yellow “The Unit” jacket - but I appeared both to myself and to my friend as a bald security member with blue camo face paint, sunglasses and a blue camo jacket.

I have managed to get my customisation working in multiplayer ONCE, and that was when hosting a match.

My customisation displays correctly in offline/single player.

Currently, I have two characters created on my account, but only really use one of them. I don’t know if the same issue exists with the second character, but I assume it does.

Yeah i get this bug a lot too red. About 1 in every 10 games.
Sometimes with the enemy players showing as the alternative clothes for the player i’m using.
I’m sure its a bug SD knows about, not a gamebreaker.

Oh, definitely not a gamebreaker, by any means. It’s just annoying that one of the main features of the game doesn’t work properly, especially after I spent so long setting up the character.

Bump. Hoping for a response here.
