Inbalance

(Nope) #1

i always get paired to those people level between ( 1-10 ) and i am level 27 current, meanwhile the other team full filled with people level (11 - 100 ) i can confirm this thing will happend everytime, in 10 match maybe 8 match like this in execution. Even i called for shuffle and passed it just make the situation even worst, and sometimes shuffle cant even get pass because of player of course. Please do something to the shuffle system or maybe this is because my low level skill state or something. i dont know. please help me. i am getting very tired of this kind of thing. these thing just make me so lost and had to carry the whole squad everytime and i am very sick and tired of it. PLEASE. Peace~

Please use the search function… please. There are probably at least 30 other threads saying the exact same thing. Here are the responses you are going to get:

 1. Levels are stupid and should be removed.
 2. The game will never be fully “balanced”.
 3. Casual Match Making is our Lord and Savior.
 4. “I hate this game and I’m going to quit its so unbalanced.” (These people will keep playing and posting anyways tho)

You’re welcome.

Uhmmm, try minimum level servers to that there are no levels 1-10 in the room? Might help you out.

10+ has 10-20s in one team, 50+ in other team then
Only hope is the CM, yet we have no idea when it’ll com out.

I had the idea that it might help if the shuffle vote was inversed, so people need to deny it. that should help when you’re with a noobtrain who doesnt know/care how to vote.

same with afk-selfkick

And this all leads to the point when people really get pissed off and then they download aimbot + wallhack combo.

I guess SD could turn a few servers into level 6-10 servers. That would make the issue a bit more manageable at least.

If you find one

You know what, I am really tired of being nice

Git gud, that is the only solution.

You know what would help with these perceived balance issues? Ranked not being dead, everyone playing ranked, having a rank, fighting people around your skill level and rank.

If you had left part 3. out I’d had wholeheartedly agreed (even though it’s a joke I get it), but have a like instead

Levels are such a massive “in-your-face” psychological factor. Some people straight up quit at the point they see someone 4x their level on enemy team without thinking for a tiniest of second of staying in and seeing how things go out. Would be so much better to have something else like merc-levels or ranks shown, instead of that. Even nothing would be better.

Just one very specific example here of my own experiences that came from discussing with people in pub servers.
While sure levels means hours means experience in the game title, it is never a stand-alone factor in how much gamesense and aiming skills the person has. For crying out loud we’re starting to have at this point people over lvl 50 who have ONLY ever played Execution; slap one of those into SW server “for missions” and they have absolutely zero sense for spawntimers and suck a bag of d!cks. They could just as well be equal to someone who just freshly booted up the game with background on some other title that does have spawntimers, even worse maybe. Sure the Exe-only fella has more knowledge of the classes but thats about it. Is that only thing needed for performing well? Hell no.
However in simple form, levels = hours = experience. This is not to be confused with knowledge either; for that one must be actively searching for it, which quite a many don’t since they’re ignorant and don’t care seeing effort in getting better. Experience does NOT translate directly to intelligence nor raw aiming skills which are the actual indicators of how good a player is. Experience is simply a multiplier to that. Try adding multiplier to 0 and see what happens.

as moderator I would expect you to know Splash Damage doesn’t control any part of the servers, that’s a Nexon wonderment

Well the wording’s a bit weird but I’m pretty sure SD can decide what level caps to slap on the servers and just asks Nexon to take care of that. Since the idea itself is developing decision, procedure is publisher / server provider action. Thats what I think Eox means.

say what you mean., mean what you say
that’s worked for me for over 60 years
