The things is, it isn’t.

+1
Me too
Splash Damage (well, Locki) want’s a good MMO FPS… and I do too! frowns at Huxley
I would assume so given the limited footage i’ve seen so far, and it is indeed one I’m looking forward to trying… though it’s pencilled for a december release date
[QUOTE=Maawdawg;281787]Joystiq preview,
Brink: Team Floatress. :rolleyes:
Further, the characters all level up and gain better abilities. For example, medics will eventually gains access to a “Lazarus Grenade,” which can be used against enemies (to do what, I was frustratingly not told, but it’s ostensibly a revivification explosive).
LOL wtf. This forum was told that Laz Nades aloud a player to heal teammates from a distance.
I guess it was “left on the cutting room floor”. cough
I think he may just not have known what it was an assumed wrong. I would still predict it is an AoE heal grenade for teammates. He probably thought grenade = for enemies and then got stuck.
Sometimes things get heard wrong. Nothing has changed with the Lazarus Grenade, it still only effects teammates.
That’s great to hear.
I still think the technology isn’t there yet. RPG work in MMO settings because they have a lower fidelity in combat precision. It’s semi turn-based. Shooters are real-time and any deviation from that is noticeable.
The Lazarus Grenade was announced to revive people (well, sending them seringes), not healing them, if I recall well… ?
Lazarus was someone who was brought back from the dead so that would be a good choice
TERA Online is an action based MMORPG. You need to aim and shoot using cross hairs like any other TPS.
