Has spectator mode been seen on any of the videos? If so, Brink tv, fack yea!
In the news...
Maybe is TheBrink.TV the first indicator for this… How will this project work without any spectator option in Brink?
We had several ingame video viewed from a flying camera, I think we can assume that there will be a spectator mode.
It’s sad how we had such crappy PC FPS, now we can’t be sure anymore about some basic features like that
some euro based players might enjoy this more then i did lol

There are times like this when I wish I lived in London.
podcast coverage on Brink from Britbox, starts at about 15:20 in. Pretty much some guys without a lot of info kind of speculating on what Brink may be for a couple minutes.

Brink get some exposure on machinima. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRisoARnZqs&feature=feedu
Nothing new, just a few workers talking about it, explaining it a little bit.
They really didn’t know much about the game but overall I thought it was a pretty good discussion about Brink.

nice find, that was a really good read.
another Brink preview.

Ugh, just read it and that preview is bad. It seems like he just read the preview from IGN that is like a half year old then wrote a preview based on that preview.
So there are previews in the current issues of “Gamers.at” (Austria) and “PC Action” (Germany). The basic conclusions are:
Gamers.at:
BRINK makes a terrific impression and wins you over with fantastic balancing as well as fun and fluid gameplay.
Few shooters offer such a dynamic experience. The mixture of strategic firefights and a freedom of movement unknown to the genre up to now is fun from the very first moment.
PC Action:
Quake Wars was a great game, but for many people inaccessible and therefore not THAT successful. SD tries hard to make Brink more accessible, nevertheless it’s still far from mainstream.
The game itself is doing great. Everything is working, the concept is refreshing and convincing.
Both previews sound great to me.
PC Action’s previewer also stated: “Hopefully the game gets a good reception.”
Dear Bethesda, I’m also a little worried about BRINK’s level of awareness. There are still a lot of people who don’t know anything or very little about it.
You really should make a big push in marketing BRINK right now, short before release!

Trust me the games advertising is steadily being raised. I’m seeing plently of ads for it and awareness is spreading around. Slowly but surely.
Sure it does, but as BRINK is a new IP and Splash Damage still is a rather unknown developer (compared to DICE, id, Epic or even Infinity Ward) there can’t be too much advertising.
Take a look at this -> http://bethblog.com/index.php/2011/04/18/european-community-tournament-for-brink-announced/
Really cool!
Some new footage and pics, contains some of the start/end cutscenes, so if you consider those spoilers you have been warned.
