new trailer…don’t see it posted
In the news...
Brink is featured on the new Qore today, here is a preview video for it.

The Brink part of the preview starts around 1:20 and isn’t worth watching. I wish I had a PS3 to check out the full preview
The Kotaku commenters are more articulate than the typical Youtube commenter, but geez are people dumb. Hell, the moron who wrote the article said it is trying to be TF2. And there are comments about the gun sounds not being cool enough. I guess those people did not see the choir of guns video.
And some guy says the animations look stiff. I thnk that is the stutter from the video loading as it plays. I saw that too, and then I rewatched it, and the stutter wasn’t there at all.
Haha, Kotaku’s commenters’ articulacy does create a facade over them being just as clueless as the rest of the interweb.
Edit: It didn’t seem to me that the editor was implying that Brink was a TF2 clone. He was just noting some similarities between the two of them.
I apologize if this preview has been linked before, but I think that I would remember this website’s name if I had seen it before. Found it through a Google Image search…
Please please please SD: You told everyone how fun multiplayer is, you told everyone that SMART is smart, you told everyone that one hit kills are stupid. Please tell everyone that you are not copying TF2 now

Fahey, the writer, says
Now that we’ve gotten to know Brink’s Medic, Soldier, Engineer, and Operative, let’s take a look the special abilities each class can unlock as they progress to make the game feel even more like Team Fortress 2.
And then goes on to say:
Brink goes far beyond Valve’s tightly-focused TF2, however, offering tons of customization, objective-based free roaming, and plenty of content for the player that would rather just go it alone.
Destructiods tidbit on the new trailer, comments section is mostly positive.

an interesting destructoid blog on the positives Brink may hold in the Japanese game market over other FPS games.
EDIT: just noticed it is by 3Suns

Just picked up on this (after properly reading it).
We’re on a Resistance-led mission to bust a pilot out of prison, with objectives split between general and class-specific roles.
I noticed on the abilities trailer at the beginning there’s a plane, is this how you earn the “You escaped the Ark” Achievement? Bust the pilot out and fly out on the plane.
Might be nice for the 100 or so people that you can cram into the small plane, but I thought Brother Chen wanted to liberate all of the refugees from their forced poverty and marginalization?
Ah, Chen is probably a hypocrite like all of the other charismatic leaders; as long as he’s included in the flight, he’ll be happy.
