In the news...

If I was Richard Hamm I would have been suspicious that I was being interviewed by Ali-G

…actually, it’s a pretty effective style, recite the answer and comment on it as you’re reciting it. It’s interesting to see what people take away from the answers to interview questions and this is probably a good gauge.

Good news guys, BRINK will be playable at E3!
I don’t think it’s press-only, so everyone will be able to take the pad I guess.

(tokamak) #243

Well, certainly the most powerful one would have to be the tactical nuke, and while we don’t have that, we do have something kind of similar in one of our missions.

The what now?

(Voxie) #244

The tactical tapir, obviously.

Just here to help spread the news of anything Brink. Here’s a recent interview that was also on the homepage but i figure to share here as well. ESG Brink Interview

There’s another poll at PCGames for the best game of E3.

I really dont know how accurate the google translation was, or whether the actual article was accurate. But I found those paragraphs interesting.

This is the first and only bad review I’ve seen on Brink.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/news/news-5532-E3-2010--Brink-Hands-On-Preview---One-Step-Forward--Two-Steps-Back.html

The guy might have been having a bad day. The commenters kinda seem to be mad at his critical words.

These people have no idea what they are talking about (The game was never cel-shaded)…

They seem to clinging so much to how a video game looks like that they cannot appreciate the actual game, the only valid complaint that they made was against the visuals, yet somehow they believe that it is enough to make it the “Biggest disappointment” of E3.

(madness) #255

Sounds to me like they just liked the Container city map more, it had more stuff on it

(tokamak) #256

Yeah, I think if you see the whole scala of maps you might appreciate a cleaner level for a change of scenery, but the container city definitely was more impressive.

(Seyu) #257

(LyndonL) #258

A nice positive, and most importantly (finally), accurate review.
