Jump explanation @1:33. Although there are a few other somewhat useful jumps further on they are easily figured out and only useful in terms of getting to a higher elevation.
In light of Dome being up this weekend, I made this useful jump video.
Dome is a really good map in terms of the fact that all the jumps are far more obvious than before, in other maps.
You can use jumps so much, compared to Chapel where there was like, 3 jumps total.

It’s my favourite map out of all of them
I mean, ye, nice and stuff, but it would be more useful if the video wasn’t made with almost the fastest merc in the game. Many jumps you hardly do with Proxy are nearly-, if not totally impossible with guys like Fragger or Rhino.
Nice stuff, but do you have static decals disabled?
Because Dome has red circle markings in some spots to indicate where to jump, wouldn’t need to mark several jump positions with bulletholes if you turn them on (outside of dome they do improve the look of maps quite a bit aswell).
When jumping into the pit would it not be better land on the railing then fall down to avoid losing health?
It needs confirmation, but I always felt that all the mercs do jump pretty much at the same length/heigth. It’s quite independant of your speed momentum. All the tricks he does here are totally achievable with fragger and rhino. And I never found a trick jump you can do with light classes which is totally impossible to do with heavy ones.
This is incorrect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LJUmnLDpDw
This shows the same jump with an LMG (it’s Thunder, so not the K121, the other one) vs the knife at ~1:50. You can clearly see the difference in range.
I’d be more worried about breaking line of sight, the defending team spawn is right there.

That’s the same merc with different weapons drawn. My first post was badly explained, but as long as you’re running at full speed (aka running with the knife equipped), jump distances between lights and heavy mercs are roughly the same. That specific trick jump in the video is also impossible to do with proxy while having a shotgun equipped
