Why can’t i choose my own nickname ingame and have to stick with the Steam one? Is there a way to do it, and if there isn’t there are any plans to change this? Thanks.

Would REALLY like this feature to be honest, or a much less restricting clan tag cvar. I don’t change my steam name for anything and hate that some games are dependent on it.
