so its odd. with the way the games set. your level in most cases says your skill to a point. odd that in many parts of the end match screens it shows exp boosts. im guessing it was a back up system if they needed extra cash ? after all with the way the game is. if you dont grind for rank then whats the point. your rank shows your well dedication and how long you served. of course cheats/hackers dont count.
in game hints of EXP boosts?
I really hope that you’re not saying the reason high level players get higher scores is because of a hidden xp boost.
There is no rewards for being a high rank.

no no no. im not saying thats why maybe its a system they never took out or it is a thing they active during an event. either way it seems odd it would be there since ive never seen it used in the past.
We have done double XP events before in the past, but we quickly realised that by giving players an increased XP earn rate they’ll level up and be put against players with higher XP faster and subsequently have harder/more unbalanced matches and have less fun. For now, it’s just a remnant of an old feature.
so wait what your saying is your EXP gain per match is what bases your matches you get in. and also if it was a thing and isnt now. wouldn’t it be safer just to pull the exp boost thing off the screens. so people like me dont ask this? also i understand if this is a tricky question or still under wraps so ya.

well not removing old code is better than answering question like this.
people can always answer question easily but i dont know about codes and plus the bugs it will create, yknow, unreal engine.

It’s unprofessional to leave something like this in such an obvious aspect of a professional game though. It’s like if a major game like Battlefield 1 decided to leave a button on their menu, but whatever it did had long since been removed and it now does nothing. It’s just silly.
It has to be removed sooner or later.
Besides, it’s a line of text. I don’t know much about Unreal, but if anything they could probably keep the base code hidden, all they’d have to do is stop the text from being drawn on the end screen. Doesn’t really matter if the code is still there, it doesn’t do anything anymore and doesn’t write anything on screen.

The point of beta is that it’ll have to be removed eventually when the game leaves beta, that’s what I’m saying, lol. They’ll have to remove it sooner or later
