I used MSVC++6 with project settings set to release (as mentioned in the read me).
With project settings set to debug I haven’t had any warnings.
But RR2DO2 has told the reason for the warnings some posts above.

The only situation in which you will get warnings is msvc6 in release mode iirc

The release of the source code is great news for mod-developers. My only fear in this matter is that some might use the source somehow to cheat in the game, but punkbuster would detect something like that, wouldn’t it?
