improving achievements

I’m surprised at how easy it is to get the 18 steam achievements on steam are, here’s a list of the achievements.

(achievement name - description)

Sprayer - Earn a first kill with an Automatic weapon
Click bait - Earn a first kill with a Semi-Automatic weapon
Headburst - Earn a first kill with a Burst-Fire weapon
Shanker - Earn a first melee kill
Gunner - Earn a first kill with Shotguns
Marksman - Earn a first kill with Sniper Rifles
Helmet, off - Earn a kill with a headshot
Job on the side - Complete a secondary objective
Hoarder - Deliver a round of ammo to a team mate
Nurse - Deliver a Unit of health to a team mate
Doctor - Revive a team mate
Victory! - Win your first multiplayer match
Moving on up - Trade Up for a Loadout Card
Operator - Unlock a Merc
Missionary - Complete a Mission
(these are the same essentially)
Level up! - Achieve account level 2
Level up! - Achieve account level 5
Level up! - Achieve account level 10

Seriously!.. These are the achievements? You can complete them all in under 3 matches. I know they can do better and this semi idea might work.

Steel loadout cards. The concept is after having played for the lengthiest of time earning specific XP designated to the merc class you can unlock a choice 3 perk card in the regular skin of the 0 perk cards.

Examples are if I play Skyhammer and earn 1 million ammo support XP with some smaller combat and objective XP on the side, I can unlock a choice loadout form his arsenal (from either gen card) that is in the regular gun skin. The original skin on each gun is available in the game without any perks. This shows you like playing this merc and designates the veteran in you for playing the game for this length of time, its a designation of achievement instead of some easy reward for playing the game.

What do you all think about this? (thanks Solace for the idea)

When those were put into the game they were more of a proof of concept to make sure achievements worked and that the game had them. The devs can and most likely will add on to them down the road as there are a lot of creative achievements that could be added to the game for those who enjoy those. But there is definitely no ETA on that happening and it most likely won’t be soon since they are working on Summer Squash part 3.

You’re right about that. Any idea as to what they might consider on achievements? Games like TF2 get the idea right.

Is this even possible to achieve anymore?

I do like your idea for the Steel loadout cards. I like how Fragger’s mg looks in default, but I don’t like not having spares, lol.

I want to know if someone hasn’t gotten the “Victory!” achievement yet XD

Anyways its good to hear approval of the steel cards (should they be called steel?)

I honestly found it hilarious when they released the achievements.

This was from a while ago. Some are pretty cool.

yeah. some are pretty cool. Most of them i think. But anything affecting gameplay is something i defintely don’t want in game. Take the first one of that link.

Overkill:
Stick an enemy with 3 stickybombs before blowing them up.

we would see hordes of fletcher trying to stick every sticky on you. This could cost the win of this match. 1 sticky is enough to kill most enemys. So i would change this to:

Overkill:
Kill 50 enemy with a sticky bomb attached to them.
