Impressions: A Must Read for Art and Level Design DEPTs.

I have been championing Brink within my gaming community for almost two years now. When the initial reviews came out I was nervous that I might have some disappointed gamers on my hands. Well, this morning, one of my friends wrote an article and I figured I better make sure that nosebone, Exedore and their respective departments get a chance to read it. (He got his copy yesterday - mine should arrive today.)

For all the complaints that Brink is getting, I would say this: COD is for mindless people, who care only for the simple task of camping, sometimes outsmarting, and mostly just “good twitching”. The Pam Anderson of video games.

Brink is a complete woman. Beautiful, educated, sensitive and demure. Like the movie “Sabrina” (with either Julia Ormond or Audrey Hepburn). Class. And with a woman like That, it makes Me want to be a better man. Hope I am good enough. Not to just get her in bed, but happy to stay always.

Ha! One of the more poetic uses of language I’ve seen in a review.

And I agree on his opinion on that map he refers to. The design is very nice, looks like a real sci-fi shopping centre, something liveable. Quite liked it.
