Importing Enemy Territory to 3D Softwares

Hello folks !

I am working on a video project and i was looking for a way to import Enemy Territory Models into softwares like 3dsmax or Milkshape.
I’ve downloaded a md3 importer plug in for 3dsmax but the ET models seem to be different than the rtcw models / q3 models.
I’ve also d/l MilkShape because it can import lots of game models and when i try to import .mdm files it reply : Incorect Version ! Found 3 but should be 2 !
when i import .md3 files it looks quite correct (the backpacks are done but the helmet model isn’t working well).
Please help me !

ps: my english is not very good because i’m french so please reply in french or in understandable english :stuck_out_tongue:

The mdm files wont import with the max plugins you have (as it’s a new model format to RTCW), and to my knowledge there aren’t any importers available for them.

The helmet models however should work fine as they are just md3’s.

What I’ve suggested to people in the past is to use the mds playermodels from RTCW and then just change the heads to the ET ones; the torso and leg models haven’t changed from the RTCW versions.
