So I was at the Brink Community Event tonight (VIP, no big deal) and I was slightly dismayed that there were no PC stations, but I was assured, many many times… that the PC version exists.
Anyway, I’m horrible at the double analog and spent half the game correcting myself from looking straight up or straight down, but what has happened is I’ve become even more excited for the PC version. The game plays so well on consoles (even for me), and is extremely intuitive to where I was like “Hmmmm, a pink square… <press>… hooray comms hack!” that I was enjoying my time, despite my blatant ineptitude at handling a controller.
It has me pretty fired up for being able to move as freely as I can handle on keyboard and mouse, and May can’t come soon enough.
Shout out to badman, bongoboy, fluffygimp and Mr. Wedgewood himself for making themselves available to a forum stalker (and Tapir Fighter) like myself. Great, great hosts. Looking forward to more PAX and I hope to provide some better insight as the weekend rolls on.
