im still experiencing very violent framerate drops (after MOFO)

i was looking foward to playing some dirty bomb again, but i still experience the very violent spikes, where my framerate drops down to 10-30 and the audio becomes really distorted. i dont see any pattern in these spikes tho. one minute, the game is running with 120 fps, the other it drops and stops suddenly.

i have a decent pc. its a laptop, which i know is not optimal, but it has a GTX 960m inside, which sure should be able to handle a game like DB.

here is some more specs.
CPU: i7, 2,5 GHz
Memory: 16 GB RAM

im also running windows 10

i also had these spikes before the MOFO Update. im gonna try doing a full system recovery, since i noticed some of my other games started to frop in fps as well.
