Remember kids… Don’t think, experiment, or figure anything out for yourself and you too can be as idiotic as this guy.
I'm really sick of having to explain this to people.
I’m sorry lad, you’re playing on the wrong platform, PC gaming requires elementary knowledge of computers and the ability to set custom cfg’s
This has to be a joke, I mean, there is no way, no way this is for real. This is worse than a troll, Ive met some dumb, I mean flat out dumb people, but this guy has to take the cake!

Want to call me stupid…go for it… But before you do, why don’t you explain where all the information I brought up in this topic is exactly in the game.
Seriously instead of being stupid why don’t you explain where you’re told how to get extra ammo from soldeirs as well as where in the game it says how to get it from the stations.
Why don’t all of you just cut the bull****… if you are saying i’m stupid that means your saying at some point you’re told this in the game…so please why don’t you share with the forum and myself where it explains all this in the game itself…
Agreed.
Especially as BRINK is really self-explaining and easy to get going.
Most things you’re asking are not even BRINK specific, so I guess you have a lot of problems with other shooters too?
Oh and yes I love this one
Now I’m just waiting for someone saying "I never use a mouse in any game.
You have to be the most god damn stupid PC gamer I have ever witnessed. By your logic, you HAVE to be told in BOLLLLLDDDD LETTERRRSSS that SHOOTING PEOPLE KILLS THEM, your character has arms and legs, your character is a character, you are playing a game, games are a medium by which one can derive pleasure, ETC.
How dumb do you have to be to not realise that YOU are the problem, you are the first person I have seen complain about something this non-technical in any game ever.
Here is some tips for your stupid ass self, with the important bits IN ALL CAPS SO YOU DONT HAVE TO STRAIN YOUR EYES.
REFILLING AMMO
-
Walk up to a command post (USING W A S D KEYS on your KEYBOARD, your keyboard is a set of buttons on a board that you (or your retarded friend billy) was smart enough to connect to your PC (personal computer))
-
WHILST NEXT TO THE COMMAND POST, look at the F***ing thing and press the corresponding key THAT COMES UP IN THE SMALL CIRCLE
-
This will open a RADIAL MENU, giving you choice on CLASS and WEAPON LAYOUT
-
YOU NOW HAVE FULL AMMO AUTOMATICALLY JUST BY OPENING THIS MENU
-
YOU’RE WELCOME
FINDING YOUR BINDINGS
-
YOUR BINDINGS are the KEYS you set to CERTAIN ACTIONS. IT IS RECOMMENDED that you TAKE A LOOK AT THESE in ANY game you play TO MAKE SURE that your KEYS do exactly what you want.
-
GO TO OPTIONS (use your mouse to accomplish this, if you don’t know what that is, ask your grandmother)
-
CONTROLS
-
MOVEMENT CONTROLS
-
See that f***ing key that has “crouch” next to it, well blimey me THATS YOUR CROUCH KEY
-
Set that **** to whatever you want
-
USE THAT KEY to CROUCH IN GAME
-
Exit BRINK, delete your system32 folder, and smash your head into a brick wall
Thank you
I 2nd the motion. All say “I” if agreed!
Btw I never said “stupid”, I said “dumb”. Stupid would of been the wrong choice. I honestly should of used lazy or bum but dumb works alright I guess.
Posting into a troll thread. In-case you are not a troll you should sell your computer. Oh wait you should do that anyways.
Here this is for everyone who still doesn’t have a clue…
here is a screenshot I took that has a question for every part of the interface disproving what anyone says about the command center and ammo as well as this picture shows a few other things no one seems to be able to answer. enjoy!
Clear as day everyone says open a command post and you will get more ammo. THERE IS NOTHING TO DO ON THIS SCREEN so it really serves absolutely no purpose.
Well this picture shows that a command post is in fact open exactly as people say…but WHERE IS THE AMMO THAT PEOPLE SAY IS HERE…looks to me that people are clearly deceptive about this…If getting ammo from a command post was by activating one, then I would have the ammo…but as you can see from teh picture an activated command post doesn’t do a thing due to nothing being explained on what you’re supposed to be doing.
Devs are clearly too damn lazy to explain anything about the interface thus making problems…
WOW, How did you do that picture? in mspaint?
Did Bill Gates explain to you what all the buttons in mspaint do while having some tea at his house?
Because we already know you don’t read manuals
Wait a second, that’s a screenshot!! WOW how did you do that one? Oh… the Print Screen button, but doesn’t that go to your printer? How did you get it into paint?
Clipboard? Copy-Paste? What the hell are you talking about, Where did you get this information? Bill Gates must have personally given you this information cause I expect it to go to the printer.
Or maybe you pressed the ingame screenshot button. Nah, cause I know you haven’t met Locki in person yet. And then you would have to go to some obscure folder within steam… oh, Did Gabe Gabe Newell explain you that one?
Attachments!!! Holy Cow! you can do that too? I suppose that’s covered in the forum manual somewhere, which you don’t read so. Maybe you worked at vBulletin during last summer. Yeah, that would explain how you were smart enough to register a forum account.

If anyone wants to rspond to this topic can speak to me directly in voice chat through xfire or ventrillo because i’m not going to get into a reply war on a forum Either voice chat with me like an adult or don’t bother replying at all.[/QUOTE]
And look at all the retarded crap he posted
People that don’t go trough their settings and then complain about it, are you KIDDING ME?
People like the OP clearly arent meant to play PC games, better stick to console kid!
Yes, it took a couple of days playing before I understood everything but everyone can learn something.
I’m convinced this isn’t for real. For a start your writing ability suggests you can’t possibly be as dim as the content of your posts suggests.
All of the information you’re asking for is disseminated in the game if you pay attention, mostly in the training videos. Watch them again and listen carefully. Most of this stuff couldn’t be more obvious, which is why I think you must be winding us up.
Look at the screenshot you’ve posted. All the HUD items you’ve asked about are explained in the videos.
-
‘Buff your Damage X’ is self explanatory: hold X to increase (‘buff’ - you’ve played other games right?) your weapon damage, because you are currently an engineer and that’s one of the things engineers can do, either to yourself or other players on your team. Again this is ALL explained in the training videos.
-
Look at the big wheel in the middle - in this case you only have two options, so I suspect you took this shot in one of the challenges where you can only play as an engineer. When you see this wheel on screen, move your mouse a bit. See how the highlighted segment of the wheel changes? Move your mouse to choose the option you want and then let go of the button to dismiss the wheel and confirm your selection (if you are viewing the wheel whilst interacting with a station, as in this case, that means let go of the ‘F’ key. If you are viewing the objective wheel in-game, which is very similar - by holding the tab or the middle mouse button - then let go of that button to dismiss the wheel and confirm your selection).
-
The icons in the bottom left represent your class abilities. Yet again, this is all explained in detail in the training videos. You are currently an engineer and you have only unlocked one ability - planting mines. Press 3 to equip a mine which you can then place somewhere. That’s what the little picture of a mine and the number 3 means.
The icon to the left of that is telling you that you can hold Mouse Button 3 (the middle mouse button) to view the objective wheel whilst in-game. The objective wheel allows you to choose the objective you would like to complete, and choosing one will highlight it in the world and on your map, and also announce to your team mates what you intend to do. Remember, whilst viewing the wheel you move your mouse to change the selection and then let go of MB3 to dismiss the wheel and confirm your selection.
The little pips above those icons in the bottom left tell you how many of your class abilities you can perform - it’s effectively your resource for performing class-specific actions. As you buff your team mates/place mines/place turrets etc etc these pips will be used up. They will refill slowly over time allowing you to perform class-specific actions again.
- Your ammo counter is not currently visible in the screenshot above. It appears in the bottom right, and as other people have said, interacting with a station WILL refill your ammo. Try it. Just use up some ammo and then check your ammo count. Then walk up to a station and tap F - you don’t even need to hold F to bring up the class wheel, just tap it. After doing that, now look at your ammo count again. As if by magic it will be full again.
My advice is play the game for a bit, everything will become clear. Even if you watch all the training videos (where, again, all of the above is explained) and read the manual etc your first couple of missions might still be a bit hectic and confusing - not because you haven’t been given the information you need, but simply because there’s a lot going on and you need to get used to it. You’ll still be learning the intricacies and nuances of the game for a long while, but the initial learning curve in your first couple of rounds will be the steepest part. It will all fall into place very quickly, just give it a chance.
All the answers to your questions can be found in the game manual which can be found in the box the game came in. Several tutorial videos, explaining how the game works with in-game demonstrations, can also be found in the Dossier menu.
