Well considering that SD was already planning on charging money for maps it seems that they really have no interest in giving people free maps. 
But seriously though, wasn’t an sdk in the air for a while? I know one of the devs won’t answer because they would rather keep their job than make a good game but it’s just annoying to see so many things fail with this game.
