I'm gonna love Casual Matchmaking :D
I am not sure if drop outs are going to be such a problem:

 1. If the matchmaking is good there will be hardly any stomps, thus no rage quitting.
 2. There is still the server browser for people who just want to quickly jump into a game and maybe have to leave early.

Maybe people who drop to often from CMM games can be band from this feature for a while. They will be still able to use the server browser, though.
I disagree, some of the players are used to easy wins just because the system allows for it in the current state. So if they are in a though match they will rage quit anyway. Do not underestimate the amount of players who want easy wins, they are plenty.

I played as a party of 5 and we found games very quickly (45s to 1mn). The problem is the 4 seconds you have to accept, too short. If you’re alt tabbed, you haven’t enough time to accept.

As there is no shuffle in the casual matchmaking, balance is very hard when someone leave, but on average, it’s fine. Remember that you can’t balance bad and good days people have when they play. Sometimes you are in a bad day but you’re a very good player, and the system can’t see that you’re in a bad day. Next day, the system think you’re a noob because of your bad day of the last day, but you’re in your good day and you stomp every game until the system see your real skill.
As we are humans, it’s hard to predict our behaviour.

@opicr0n Maybe you are right. I didnt think about that brand of players.

As far as I know you auto accept anyway, if you dont cklick “accept” within the 4 seconds.

@Kelben
Aw, I didn’t know that. Then why is sometimes the research reset ? I always expect it was a player who didn’t accept in time.
Then why is a accept button ?
I didn’t do enough test to know. I always click on accept as soon as there is a possibility to play, to stop loosing more time in the waiting queue.

@ClemClem7 I really dont know why it does the search reset. But I am 90% sure that shoe or someone else stated that it is on auto accept anyway.

You don’t have to hit accept, it auto times out to accepting ;)
Here you go

@Kelben
Thanks man.

Maybe one day this system will be fine.
As it’s not a test of 24 hours like they told us the first time, it’ll be 24 tests of 1hour everytime.
19 more to go.

The auto accept is there for a couple reasons. Keep in mind that we are at a Testing stage.
Currently they want see if everyone gets into the right matches (obv not). With the autoaccept you rule out one source of unwanted behaviour (that will be checked at a later stages of the test). If there were no autoaccept, it might not show up as a bug since one could assume, as you did as well, that people just denied.

With the autoaccept you have as many testers as possible in the matchmaking system at time. With the short timer, it simulates human input, but drastically reduces the waiting time for all players and the admins watching. Since they dont need to wait for nose picker Bob not accepting for 65seconds.
