Today I played 10 games… ALL 10 games were stacked beyond belief. Games were lasting 5 minutes. One team had guys with scores of 6,000 the other team had guys of scores of 500. And this was across multiple servers.

The matchmaking in this game is beyond broken.

So until it’s fixed I’m going to be one of those a**holes that simply leaves the game. I’m not wasting my game time being cannon fodder.

I’ve noticed others are doing this as well, which obvious then makes it even more of a pub stomp and makes the problem even worse.

I can’t believe that SD didn’t anticipate this (as its an issue with every single FPS if you don’t have something to prevent it).

Simple solutions:

  1. have a better matchmaking system
  2. allow for shuffle votes
  3. For the love of god get a cheat reporting function so at bare minimum we can clean up the hackers.

Just saying but skill balancing is not in the game as of yet. in your ten games did you spot the big coming soon text on the performance tab? That means that the metrics for recording data, the data a players skill would be judged on, is not fully implemented yet and as such there is no skill balancing.

I agree shuffle votes would be nice and i believe a reporting system is on it’s way (you can currently kick players but i don’t think this stops them rejoining).

the matchmaking as is… simply looks for a server with available slots and a good ping.

and finally, the game is in closed beta if you expect it to be perfect then you don’t understand the idea of betas.

With MM you just enter a server where people can freely move between attacker and defender. There is no balancing of teams.

Being cannot fodder. You are in a relatively small beta where a lot of us are playing this game for some time already. A lot of players also have long history in fps. What I am saying is that the average skill level is high when you compare to other games. Once open beta starts it will get better.

Tip: There are lvl6 locked servers.

Matchmaking is fine.

People who play for longer while now just choose servers.
