@Clown As I said later I found playing with him got better. I wrote the post only after 2 games with him. I’ve realised it was mostly me as now I’m constantly getting 3rd+ with him. Either way I still prefer fletcher.

@Tom That’s cool, just play whoever you find most fun. Whether they are the absolute best or not doesn’t matter.

once you learn the best places for turrets, bushwacker is in my eyes the best merc. ive gotten an ace while on the ground just from my turret. its like an extra player in the best scenarios, and we all know how mych difference a good player can make, so how about a player with 100% accuracy?

Can’t you see that the guy is just literally farming the forums? Check his discussion trains past few days. He changed his opinion after few hours of forum posting instead of playing and trying the merc.

On topic (as bad as it is): Bushwacker is pretty good as it is. His turret got HP nerfed few patches back (probably 6-7 months ago :smiley: ) which was shame, because ppl complained about bush stacking in the free rotations. Now they are doing the same for fletcher. I have 700 hours IN GAME and still can’t pick who is better - they shine on different situations, but I can see that proxy is the worst engi. She is female with the cost of 30k credits - the only reason she is played.
In pub games on stages where engi is not required I found proxy to be even worse than vassili friendly stacking… Just my opinion, especially when you play medic and waste your medpacks for them. Bush and fletcher can kill and soak more damage.

I learnt good turret placement by getting schooled by good opposition bushwackers.

Bushwacker is the go to engineer for new players as he is all around, easy to use, and has a turret that shoots for you.
