If you have 2 iOS devices, you can play your turn twice and get double turn coins.

So I have an iPad2 and an iPhone 4S. I loaded up my turn vs badman on both devices. I played my iPad2 turn first, then completed it and sent it back to badman. Then, I went to my iPhone and played my turn differently.

On the iPad I played for real and on the iPhone I just made most of my soldiers run away. Well, except one guy I made take a few pot shots. After my iPhone version was done, I sent the turn back to badman, but I got the coins from BOTH devices.

Oh, badman just replied with his turn. I wonder what he saw on his screen.

Well, it looks like badman got the first turn that I sent in via my iPad. The 2nd turn from the iPhone was ignored. Maybe it’s because he played the iPad turn before I could finish my iPhone turn.

In either case, I still got double coins from playing the turn on 2 devices.

It sounds like you’re getting double the turn bonus award after each turn, which will just use up your bonus turn awards. Is this correct?

I play the same turn on both devices. I finish one first and send it out, then finish the same turn on the second device. When the second device is adding my coins, my total coins displayed are including the bonus coins from the first device.

How that works on your end is unknown to me. So yes, perhaps I am going through my “bonus allotment” but I have no idea really.

On that note, to avoid any other weirdness with multiple devices playing the same turn, perhaps when one device goes into the game, then it flips a switch which tells other devices that “The game is active on your other iOS device.”

If you’ve already planned for this scenario and being able to play the same turn on multiple devices is “as designed”, then disregard.

I guess what georgeWarChest asked was just :
did you get 100 coins for SENDING THE TURN twice

or did the match end and you got two times the coins for the game (~~ 500-1000 ) ?

you get 100x 100coins for sending a turn. it’s a problem if you get tewice the coins for ending a game. it’s a problem IF you can send a turn twice
but it’s no coin-cheating (or a major problem) if you get 100coins earlier or later in the game

well, that’s my opinion. I’m no dev. or admin

just: the question is

twice 100 coins or twice more then 100coins?

with friendly regards

Here’s what happens:

  1. I start a game vs an opponent.
  2. When we both finish turn 1, I get the notice on both of my iOS devices that it is now my turn, aka Turn 2.
  3. I open up the app on both of my iOS devices.
  4. I go into the game on both devices.
  5. On my iPad, I finish my turn and send it to my opponent.
  6. My coins go from 0 to 100 thanks to the turn bonus.
  7. Now, I play the same turn, Turn 2, on my iPhone and send it back again to my opponent.
  8. Once the turn is sent, my coins go from 100 to 200. The 100 coins from the iPad are showing up on my iPhone, during the same turn.

I earned twice the amount of bonus coins in the same turn by playing on two devices “simultaneously”.
