As simple as it sounds… Name 3 things you would love to see Changed/Added to Dirty Bomb.

Here is mine.
1, Less restrictive “Classes”
2, None time based primary game mode
3, More punishment for death

Obviously I am not mentioning things that are supposed to be getting changed in the next big update. I have a feeling we will see the said patch at some point this week or next, so I am very excited.

  1. Kick out Nexon and other publishers (region lock is an absolut no-go)
  2. Involve the testers more, especially at map feedback
  3. finally get a clear design (make sure that the game knows what it wants to be, not a cheap hybrid of CoD/BF and ET/ETQW)

  1. Strafe jumping (or any other cool movement)
  2. Remove Iron sight (except on snipes obviously)
  3. Allow sprinting why doing everything and add stamina bar

Won’t mention spread to get decent fights as it is supposed to be in the next patch. That would be perfect for me.

  • community created maps (and other content - weapon skins and camo)
  • improve current maps/make them more dynamic (paths, side objectives, command posts, team doors, capturable flags, alternate spawns, etc…)
  • longer defensive spawn time

  1. Reduce recoil across the board.
  2. Implement a half decent spawn system + Spawn times.

I’m assuming when you see primary game mode of mean a leading/popular mode like Conquest is for BF series?

Yeh I would agree.

  1. yes definitely. I would like to see them fulfill roles now more than classes. Like you bring X to make a hard slow push or Y for those difficult plants.

  2. Gametypes I would like to see would be something like Rush from BF but with more secondary objectives. Conquest I think its called from Ghost Recon Online/Phantoms with the pushing tug-of-war thing and like an elimination TDM with quick rolling rounds. I love TDM when it has elimination added to it.

  3. I was thinking respawn penalty for team wipes.

What roles should these mercs be divided in?

I think the idea is that they would not need to be divided at all…
More like “suggested roles” kinda like what you see in Moba games…

Currently everything seems pretty much balanced around the idea of classes… However, the classes system has been almost dropped…
Right now its like…
MEDICS = Heal + Revive
FIELD OPS = AOE Strike + Ammo
ENGIE = Fast Defuse/Repair + Area Denial
RECON = Fast Hack + Spotting + HS Gib
SOLLY = Strong + Fast Plant + High DPS

I would theme as in…
“OldSchool” - “Tech” - “Mechanic” - “Mercenary”

This would basically remove the current engie class…
Theme the Mercs Weapons, Feel and Ability around these pillars and have their objective bonuses seperate to the current classes…

ie, SKYHAMMER
Keep Airstrike
Give 15sec UAV every 60sec
Allow him to plant C4 quicker

KIRA
Keep Orbital Laser
Allow her to Hack quicker

No reason you could not have a Merc that has a pretty average weapon but has both small med packs and small ammo packs and can do all objectives faster than none skilled mercs (like defuse at a speed half way between Proxys speed and Standard).

IN BASIC…
GIVE EVERY MERC A SKILL AT A CERTAIN OBJECTIVE… DO NOT BALANCE MERCS BASED ON THEIR ABILITY TO DO OBJECTIVES…
