ENGIE = Fast Defuse/Repair + Area Denial
RECON = Fast Hack + Spotting + HS Gib
SOLLY = Strong + Fast Plant + High DPS
I would theme as in…
“OldSchool” - “Tech” - “Mechanic” - “Mercenary”
This would basically remove the current engie class…
Theme the Mercs Weapons, Feel and Ability around these pillars and have their objective bonuses seperate to the current classes…

Keep Airstrike
Give 15sec UAV every 60sec
Allow him to plant C4 quicker
KIRA
Keep Orbital Laser
Allow her to Hack quicker
No reason you could not have a Merc that has a pretty average weapon but has both small med packs and small ammo packs and can do all objectives faster than none skilled mercs (like defuse at a speed half way between Proxys speed and Standard).

GIVE EVERY MERC A SKILL AT A CERTAIN OBJECTIVE… DO NOT BALANCE MERCS BASED ON THEIR ABILITY TO DO OBJECTIVES…
